John Charles is the Head of Residential Design and a Senior Project Manager. He joined our team in the summer of  '86 while finishing college. When he received his Bachelor's of Architecture from Temple University in 1992, he began his journey with Phillips & Donovan Architects, LLC full time. John has a passion for residential architecture and urban design which shows in the way he listens to his clients' needs and translates them into an architectural environment that enhances their way of life. Have a renovation - addition project? John would love the challenge, as he states, "There is just something satisfying about breathing new life into an existing home". When John is out of the office, you can find him backpacking or photographing nature. He is also a proud "Adirondack 46er".
